rig doctor
It’s been two hitch I work as a rig doctor. Till know I still do not understand what is my responsibilities. All my jobs in the rig is managing the clinics, seeing one or two patient per day,make a report, giving first aid when necessary, doing some inspection, and doing some clerical job. My daily patient is people with muscle pain, common cold, dermatitis, and such.
Geez, why do a rig need a doctor anyway. If only for doing those jobs they can use a medic instead. It’s not that I underestimate a medic. But honestly they do not need to hire a doctor just for doing those jobs.
Well, I’m a bit confuse this few days. This job give me a better income than my previous. But from the professional point of view, it make me become less and less doctor. My hope is that there might be more and bigger responsibilities for a rig doctor. Medical reponsibilites I mean. A responsible that will make me to become a doctor again.
